Davis discussed the Tupac shooting in a memoir before his arrest!

In his 2019 memoir, Davis described being in the car the night Tupac was shot in Las Vegas. Investigators used his own public statements as key evidence, leading to his 2023 arrest — 27 years after the killing.

Tupac's estate earned $9M in 2018 alone — 22 years after his death.

Forbes ranked Tupac among the top-earning deceased celebrities that year. His catalog, films, and brand have generated tens of millions since 1996, making the financial stakes of his unsolved murder case enormous.

Keefe D's immunity deal didn't cover his own memoir confessions.

In the early 2000s, Las Vegas police gave Keefe D immunity for cooperating on the Tupac case. Prosecutors argued his later book and TV interviews were voluntary — and fell outside that agreement's protection.
