“Something on a dating profile that would scare me off? Definitely anyone who's in the military.”

“Cats.”

“Something that I think is a little weird is when, um, people have pictures with their exes right on their profile because maybe it looks good with them. But then they put, like, an emoji over their ex's face or something, like, you're doing too much. Like, it's okay. We all have exes. We get it.”

“Something on a dating profile that would scare me off would be if the guy knows too much about his Horoscope. Or he's under 5'3". Or, actually, make that 5'7". Or, um, all of his pictures are shirtless. And-”

“Something that would scare me on a dating profile is if someone says that they like feet or that they don't like music. Like, who are you? Who even are you?”

“Something on a dating app that would scare me off is if someone has very traditional views since I'm a very progressive person. So, I'd want someone to be more open minded. And yeah, that's something that would match well with my personality, I guess.”

“Uh, one thing that would scare me, I think would be definitely if they say they run marathons with their family on Thanksgiving. I would not be for that, so...”

“What's something on a dating profile that would scare you off? Um, many things, but anything too angry or ner- Like...like MAD. Like, if you're just, like, angry at the world, angry at your ex, angry at people, and you're just complaining over and over and over again, that is definitely scary. I'm not into it. I wouldn't even answer. Um, anything aggressive or super judgmental. Um, like, I don't like this, and just again complaining, not into that. Scary.”

“So, I'd have to say, if your profile says married four times and still looking for Mr. Right, I'm probably not going any further. We're not gonna swipe either way. We're just gonna close it and call it a day. Let's be completely honest. Or loves Brussels sprouts. Who loves Brussels sprouts?”

“If your dating profile includes Photoshopped or edited/cropped pictures of you and your previous significant other, don't message me. I'm scared.”

“If I were to read on someone's dating profile that they didn't like animals, not only would it scare me off, but I would consider it a huge red flag.”

“Something that would definitely scare me away from someone's dating profile would be too much information. I think dating profiles are supposed to be short and sweet. Um, and maybe even funny, too. But I think when, um, there's a whole paragraph, I think it can be a bit of a turn-off for some people.”

“Never in my life have I been on a dating profile. Or, like, any Tinder or anything. But, what's one thing that would really kind of throw me off? Would be if someone was, like, 6'6". You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm only 5'11" and you know, praise, praise the tall girls out there. You know, y'all are doing great. Goddesses. I just don't think that would be work- that would work for me. I... I'm sorry. That's, that's pretty much it.”

“Uh, I'm all for hobbies - don't get me wrong - but if the hobby is collecting something that would not be socially acceptable to collect, I think I would be potentially a little bit off-put. I think maybe if someone was like, "Oh, I love collecting hair," um, that would raise a lot more questions, and I think I'd be prepared to deal with. Where's the hair coming from? What are you doing with the hair? Does it not stink? Please, I hope it's... I hope it's just your own. So, yeah, collecting... Honestly, collecting any type of, uh, any type of, uh, body follicle what I think, uh, what I think would really scare me off.”

“Well, a thing on a dating profile that would definitely scare me off is dead fish - a man holding dead fish. I don't know if it's, like, some particular signal they're sending or what, or if they think that somehow describes their personality better. But whenever I see a man holding dead fish in his hand - and I see plenty! - I usually keep scrolling just in case.”

“Something that would scare me off would be, uh, "conservative." Yeah. That's really it.”

“Something on a dating, uh, profile that would scare me off is if somebody had, like, "Mama's boy" or something like that in their bio or as their name. Um, I just think that is pretty insane when someone's so obsessed with their mom that it takes over the relationship. I think that's weird.”

“Honestly, something that would scare me off - or I guess that has scared me off - is bad grammar. If I see just, like, a lot of run-on sentences, and just, like, poorly spelled words or otherwise, it just looks kind of like a mess. Yeah, that would kind of scare me off because, you know, if you can't even use a semicolon or a comma properly, you know, why should I even consider your profile?”
