Allegra E's Answer

QOTD: “Should only trained service dogs be allowed on airplanes, or is any comforting pet OK?”

Philadelphia, PA

Gatekeeping what pets are allowed is wrong.

“I believe that airplane passengers should be able to bring any pet that provides them with emotional support with them. I understand that animals that are not trained to be service animals come with their own set of complications because they may not be as disciplined, but I do think that gatekeeping who is allowed to bring a pet and who- what qualifies as emotional support feels wrong.”
