QOTD #00077: “Did you ever have a dream while sleeping that later came true?”

“If something like a deja vu, then I would say: Yes, of course. A lot of times. I remember just last week when I dreamt of eating my favorite dish, or my favorite food, and then later in the morning when I woke up, that food that I dreamt of, or my favorite food, is already being served on the table. So...”

“Yo, I have dreams like that all the time, and I'm starting to think I'm psychic. I'm - Well, not "starting" to think. I've thought this for a while. But I really believe that I am psychic because I will have those dreams, and it may not happen that same day or even that same week, but give it two or three months from that point from that dream and it will happen, and I'll remember it and I'm like, "Woah, I dreamed this entire scenario. I know." So I kinda knew that this would happen, and it's weird. It's kinda like a weird deja vu, and I think that's where deja vu comes from is because we have those dreams that are so real, so vivid, that once you have those dreams and once you go and go throughout life and you actually see your dreams come true, it's like, "Man, I've lived this. I know I did this before. I know I did this before." And so yeah, they can definitely come true.”

“I've had a dream where my grandmom died. On waking up, my grandmom was seriously ill. She died five years after.”

“I don't think this has ever happened to me, and honestly, my dreams are a bit extravagant and a bit crazy, and so I don't think I'd want any of them to come true. Um, I remember quite a lot of my dreams, and I do get deja vu a lot, but, um, I don't think any of them have ever come true, no.”

“Hmm. "Did you ever have a dream while sleeping that later came true?" Huh. Honestly, I don't really have recollection of that, like, having a dream and then later on it coming true. What I do know is that I have had dreams that I have wanted to come true and have worked for them to come true. For example, it's been one of my biggest dreams to go to Japan, and gratefully I've been blessed to say that I have been. Dream come true.”

“The other night I had a dream where I reached into my pocket and I pulled out a $20 bill. Um, and then the next day I woke up, and I was so mesmerized by that dream of just pulling out money I didn't know I had that I ransacked my bedroom looking for stray cash that I had just left over the years. And, like, after a certain amount of, like, looking, you do find stray cash, and I found that, and I knew that my dream had told me where to look. And then I was $80 richer.”

“Did you ever have a dream while sleeping that came true later? Now, I know this is kind of a pointless story or dream or whatever you want to call it, but yes, I have. Um, example of this - So I love boats, I love being on the water, I love lakes, but I unfortunately don't have a boat. Many of my friends do, so I vividly recall right at Memorial Day of this year, you know, perfect lake, boat, weather, especially here in the Midwest where I'm from, you know? I was sleeping and dreaming about being out on the lake, being on the boat, then miraculously, woke up and later that day I had an invite. One of my friends said, "Hey, let's go out, you know, on my boat, and let's, you know, enjoy yourself. Weather's nice." And, you know, it really made me happy because I hadn't been out on my friend's boat yet that whole year, and I thought it was one of the strangest coincidences ever that I had dreamt of it that day, and it came true that day as well. So, very cool experience. And, you know, what the life lesson is here: dream big because your dreams might just come true. ”

“Well, most of my life I've had very vivid and, um, terrifying dreams sometimes, so I'm kind of glad that none of them have come true because they literally have sometimes felt like, um, a trip down the rabbit hole. It's been a little weird. I'm glad none of them have come true because a lot of them I would need therapy for if they came true, because dreaming them was enough. However, I did and still do have recurring dreams that my dog dies or runs away or gets stolen because she's my best friend. And no, that isn't sad. However, one time I- I did have one that was so vivid that I woke up crying, and that wasn't fun. And then my dog in real life ran out of our front door and tried to get back across the street and almost got hit by a car. Almost. Didn't. And now, I am terrified because that's the closest to one of them ever coming true. But other than that, I don't think the one about my mom becoming a green witch has come true yet... Yet.”

“"Did you ever have a dream while sleeping that later came true?" Um, I don't think, like, big ones that I can remember, but I have had those small instances of, like, deja vu where it's like, I'll touch a wall or something or be doing some really specific behavior, and then, you know, later whether it's that week, that day or, you know, a couple months after, I find myself doing that exact thing in that place that I hadn't been to. So in a small way, I guess it's come true, but in large part, no.”

“Absolutely, like, several times I've had dreams that came true. So, one of my favorite dreams about a famous person is Jay-Z and having a kid. So, once upon a time, I had a dream that I was married to Jay-Z, and- and we were in a car. I remember the exact location. The car was stopped and everything. So, we were parked on the side of the road because our baby needed to have her diaper changed, and this was probably in the early 2000s that I had this dream. So, you know, fast forward to Jay-Z and Beyonce being married, and first kid that they have: daughter. And so I always think, you know, if they're riding in the back of these vehicles that they're always talking about in their music, and they have these really large seats and they have this baby, I feel positive that there has been a time that they had to stop and change a kid's diaper in the back of the seat. So, the dream didn't come true for myself and Jay-Z, but Jay-Z definitely had a daughter, and I'm almost positive the baby's who have - had their diaper changed in the backseat.”

“I don't think I had a dream that came true, but I definitely had several dreams where it was just the next day, like, instead of, you know, some strange adventure off in my head, I would wake up or I would- I would dream that I had woken up and had to get ready for school. This- this happened a lot in high school. I had many stress dreams where I would just go to school, um, but there was one in particular I remember where I had a test, like, in my first or second period, and I dreamt that I went and took that test, which is a very silly thing to - I'm dreaming. I could be anywhere in the world. I could be doing anything, but instead I'm going to sit and pretend I'm taking a test for two hours. So yeah, that's the closest I can think of. The test wasn't anything close to what I dreamt of, I don't believe.”

“No, I have never. Which is a good thing, because I've had some wild dreams. I've had some crazy dreams: A combination of emotions as well as characters in my life that I met throughout the day. But no, none of my dreams have ever came true.”

“Honestly , Yes , I have . I've been in many situations where I'll be doing something or someone will say something or I'll be in a place and somebody will be in a specific set of circumstances and I'll be like , Wait a minute . Wait just a gosh darn minute . I've experienced this before . I had a dream like this . Sometimes it's like months ago . Sometimes it's like , five years ago , but , yes , I've had it happen . It feels weird , and I don't really know what to do with about it .”

“Several times. I've had a dream about a dream and when I wake up I find myself very confused, and that happens pretty often. Not really had a dream come true, but a dream about a dream.”

“I had a dream that I seen a Dalmatian while walking to school and a pitbull while walking to school. Literally just random dream . I was like , Okay , that's random . Two weeks later , 2 3 weeks later walking to school . And guarantee I promise you , I look while I'm five blocks away from the school , I see a Dalmatian . I'm like first of all that's really rare , and that's really weird . And then I said , I see a pitbull like a block away from the school , and I'm just like what.”

“Not me . But my mom did about my little brother , actually , and she dreamed that he fell off of this wall into a waterfall that we often would go and take walks at , And I think like a couple days later , after she had this dream he was playing around on this edge right by where he could have fallen into this waterfall , And I mean it's it was super fast water that there would have been no getting him out . So maybe that dream saved my brother's life .”

“Um , I don't know . Like I don't . I can't think of a specific story or anything . But I constantly have these moments of like deja vu where I'm like , I'm positive . I've had a dream or something . And now it's happening . Um , but I can't think of a specific anything . It's just I have these moments in like I'm pretty sure dreamt that So , um , yeah .”

“Yeah . Back Then I had this massive blister on my legs from like burning and stuff . And anyway , I was playing with my cat and my dream was playing with her playing with their and like suddenly my blister just explode . For some reason . I was like hurting like hell . And I woke up and my cat was like stomping on my leg and It was not a good sign .”

“Dream that ever came true while sleeping . Oh , man , I think we all can relate to this . The dream where you're late for school and you're running to school and all of a sudden you wake up in your dream you go . Oh , thank God . I'm not late . Look at your clock and then realize that no , you actually are late and still have to run to school . That's dream . That dream has definitely happened a few times .”

“I have never had any dreams come true , Which is probably good because a lot of my dreams are anxiety Dreams terrifying .”
