An eraser that really erases. Imagine that!

“In the next 10 years, I hope scientists will invent a pencil eraser that actually works. I'm so tired of smudging my paper with the stupid rubber rubber erasers that don't work. They just smear. It's ridiculous. Even, you know, I used to think that the black the black erasers on pencils were better. Nothing works - pink, black, I've even tried blue. And then you get [the even pencil to] - Anyways, what they need to do - scientists need to invent an eraser that actually erases well for pencils.”
