A random act of Vietnamese iced tea.
“So I used to live in Vietnam for the past three years, and I was waiting outside of a restaurant, waiting on some of my friends, and the doorman there saw that I was - it was, like, really hot and I was tired, a bit out of breath. And they have a drink there - just iced tea, it's called 'cha da' - and he offered me a cup of tea from his own personal cup, and it was such a kind gesture. He didn't know me, we don't speak the same language, and it was just one of those beautiful moments of humanity where someone just did something kind for me. I spent like 20 minutes at dinner talking about it 'cuz it just caught me off-guard. And I was so thirsty at that moment, like, it was like an answer to my prayers, essentially. It was a beautiful interaction, and it was lovely to just see the humanity.”
