QOTD: “What is one thing your parents taught you that you will pass down to your kids?”

Don't judge a mean mug by its cover

“'What is one thing your parents taught you that you will pass down to your kids?' Well, personally is 'never judge a book by its cover.' I don't know about y'all, but one thing that I very, very much value that my parents taught me is never judge a book by its cover, simply due to the fact because you never really know what someone's going on - or what someone has going on, I mean. Someone could look very mean on the outside, but on the inside they're hurting, so we gotta watch out for one another.”
