Your honor, im slaying
Deborah Sampson, Revolutionary War hero!
“I don't know too much about history, um, but there is one person I remember reading about in middle school named Deborah Sampson who, during the Revolutionary War, disguised herself as a man so that she could fight in the army. And she only left the army once she got, um, injured and sick and her identity was found out. But that's always stuck with me because of, like, what a brave person that is, and I try to emulate that sort of bravery into my life. I've never had a situation like that, but I'd I'd like to think that, um, I could be someone like that.”
