Hopefully 'brown thumbs' don't run in the family

“I'm actually - I actually am growing something this spring. I'm, um, I'm trying to get a basil plant kind of set up on the balcony of my apartment, and, you know, I have, uh- my mom always had a, uh, a brown thumb because everything she tried to grow horribly died, but hopefully that doesn't, uh, doesn't run in the family.”
