MORE ABOUT 'HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (2000)'
Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store! Jim Carrey stars as the Grinch, a grumpy green creature who lives in a cave above Whoville and despises the Whos' love of Christmas. When young Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen) tries to bring Christmas cheer to the Grinch, he instead devises a plan to steal Christmas from the Whos entirely. With help from his loyal dog Max, the Grinch sneaks into Whoville on Christmas Eve to take everything—but discovers that the true meaning of Christmas can't be stolen. Christine Baranski shines as Martha May Whovier, the Grinch's former love interest, while Jeffrey Tambor plays the scheming Mayor Augustus Maywho.
Directed by Ron Howard and based on Dr. Seuss's beloved book, 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' features Jim Carrey, Taylor Momsen, Christine Baranski, and Jeffrey Tambor in a whimsical holiday adventure filled with heart, humor, and stunning production design.
