When aliens attack Earth using classic arcade games as their blueprint for war, it's up to former arcade champions, including Adam Sandler (Sam Brenner), Kevin James (Will Cooper), and Peter Dinklage (Eddie Plant), to save the world! Sam Brenner leads a team of unlikely heroes including his best friend Will Cooper (Kevin James), who happens to be the President of the United States, tech specialist Ludlow Lamonsoff (Josh Gad), and reformed arcade rival Eddie Plant (Peter Dinklage). With help from military specialist Violet Van Patten (Michelle Monaghan), they must use their gaming skills to defeat pixelated versions of Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Centipede, and other classic arcade characters before they destroy civilization.
