QOTD #00113: “What fictional or mythological creature would you want as a pet?”

“I have always wanted a dragon as a mythological creature for a pet. If they could be more fluffy rather than scaly, that would be great. Still fire breathing, though.”

“This is an easy one. If I could have any pet, I'm going with one of the great Eagles from The Lord of the Rings, because not only could they fly me anywhere, which is a huge benefit in and of itself. But those, in the books, those can talk, so not only can I converse with my pet, but I have a free ride anywhere and never any traffic again. That's, that's hard to beat.”

“What fictional or mythological creature would you want as a pet? Maybe, like a gnome or an elf? Something really tiny and cute that I can put in my pocket. Carry around, make him dance, could also ask it to clean all the tiny places that, um, in my house that my hands are too big to get in and clean. Yeah, a gnome.”

“A dragon. I mean, I feel like it could be difficult to, um, keep the house. But I mean, maybe they're easily trained. Uh, I think that that would be pretty cool, though, because you know, it's a dragon.”

“I think I would want a griffin as a pet. The lion with the head and wings of an eagle. You've probably seen them in like Harry Potter. But I don't know... They just, I think in their mythologies they've always been very loyal and smart creatures. So I feel like that would be a great way to get around is with a griffin that can fly you somewhere and then make it home just fine.”

“I can't decide whether I go with...this one or this one. Can all Pokémons just be real? But if I have to choose... Alright, it's Charmander all the way. I don't know why, maybe because we're matching in color. I love his...I love the fire. I love, I love everything about Charmander. So I think I'd love my own Pokémon [sings] "Cause I want to be the very best, that no one ever was." And I want to catch them all, just to clarify there.”

“A mystical or, ya know fictional creature that I would want would be a genie in a bottle. Like, who doesn't want a genie in a bottle! I can get my wishes granted. And with my last wish, I could get a new genie and get more wishes. Unlimited. Life would be great. Life would be really great!”

“This is another easy one. I have always wanted, since I was a little guy, Meowth, the Pokémon. I've always wanted, like, a talking cat. I always thought it was so cool that there was a Pokémon that not only was super sassy and could talk and had claws and loved gold and coins. But you know, he was a cat, and he was a Pokémon and he had moves and like, yeah. I want Pokémon to be real, number one. But I definitely want a Meowth.”

“It's dragon. Is there any other answer in all of pop culture, mythology, fictional or otherwise? I mean, if you like the Star Wars puffin, little cute guys, I don't care. The answer is dragon. Could you imagine riding one? Could you imagine just flying? Just being one with your Dragon, Aragon style, or How to Train Your Dragon style or name a dragon? I mean, it's just awesome. They just are.”

“This is kind of a silly one. But I would absolutely love to have Ned from the band Twenty One Pilots, their mascot, little guy. Oh, I would love to have him as a pet. He's just so cute and so adorable and I just love him. And, um, oh. Oh my God. I want him so bad.”

“So in the movie, The Clash of the Titans, the Kraken. That would probably be a mythological creature that I would want as a pet. Just have a Kraken on deck, like, you know. Don't mess with me. I will release the Kraken on you. [laughs] That would be so crazy. But yeah, I think I'm definitely going with the Kraken...or a Pegasus.”

“Guys, let's not even pretend. Obviously, me and all of you, would also choose Fairy Godparents that can grant your wishes. Duh, we're all trying to be Timmy Turner. We were all there together, wanting Fairy Godparents.”

“This answer is going to show my only childness growing up, but I would totally have Stuart Little as a pet. He's small and portable and can talk. So it's like a small, portable, built-in best friend. Like, who doesn't want one of those?”

“A pocket elf! Did anybody else watch Wizards of Waverly Place? And remember when Alex Russo was trying to pass Spanish class and she got a little pocket elf? They were so adorable. I want one. I've never stopped thinking about it since like, 2011.”
