QOTD: “Do you believe social media is a benefit or a burden to society?”

My confession

Social media is a burden.

“Okay, I'm voting burden because I think it actually disconnects people. As much as you feel more connected online, you're more disconnected socially, if that's a thing. Um, and I also think it can bring out the worst in people and division and really fester that into society. And I think that's just a huge distraction as well. Doom Scrolling wasn't a thing and I got a lot more done, when it wasn't a thing. So that's why I vote button.”
