Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans! Reese Witherspoon stars as Alice Kinney, a recently separated mother of two who moves back into her childhood Los Angeles home. Just as she's starting over, she meets three young filmmakers—Harry (Pico Alexander), Teddy (Nat Wolff), and George (Jon Rudnitsky)—and impulsively allows them to move in.
