Chaos reigns on campus as Nevermore celebrates its annual Prank Day! Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is reeling from a disturbing vision of her roommate Enid Sinclair's (Emma Myers) death, which she fears is linked to the mysterious murders by crows. Her psychic powers are blocked, and she’s arrested after discovering another victim, but her mother Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) quickly intervenes. Wednesday visits her old enemy, the Hyde-creature Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), in a psychiatric hospital for information on his late father, who was the last victim, but Tyler only escalates their conflict.

As Nevermore’s Prank Day chaos peaks, Wednesday’s stalker, Agnes DeMille (an invisible Outcast student and super-fan), kidnaps Enid and her new acquaintance Bruno, chaining them in Iago Tower. Using her wits and the help of Thing, Wednesday manages to solve the deadly puzzle and save Enid and Bruno just in time, gaining Agnes as a reluctant, invisible ally. The episode, 'The Devil You Woe,' is a thrilling chapter that pushes the mystery forward.
