Pass the manners, not the gas

“Oh, so one thing my parents taught me that I'll pass down to my kids - I mean, I'm probably gonna pass everything down because that's just how it works, right? - but, um, I guess, manners. My mom was a big manners person, like, 'don't put your elbows on the table.' Um, she's big about not passing gas in front of people, 'close the door when you're using the bathroom.' These are things that, like, need to be taught to wild children though, 'cuz I - Yeah, I'm I'm gonna do that to my kids, for sure.”
