QOTD #00065: “You have to defend yourself from a wild animal; what's the largest beast you could take?”

“I don't know if this counts as a wild animal, but I think I could take on, like, a stray dog, maybe - Maybe not too big, maybe not too ferocious, but I feel like I could come away with some bites, but that I could hold my own. But if I were talking about, like, a wild animal, I've seen like those boars that charge at people or maybe like a goat. I could probably hold my own against something like that, although not with some - not without some injuries, but I feel like I could hold my own.”

“The largest animal I think I could defend myself is a cockroach. I think that I can defend myself from a cockroach, but it would be very, very scary and I'd probably lose.”

“Mmm, I think I could take on, like, a goat or maybe, like, a small dog. I don't I don't wanna have to take on a goat or a dog, but - 'cuz animals are tough, but I say yeah, probably like a goat. I could probably choke a goat out, I guess, or yeah, choke it out - I think?”

“Now, I can't say that I could take on something very large like an elephant or a lion. I'm a very small person and I know my limits. However, I think I could take, like, on like a medium-sized animal, like, uh, like a small wildcat - like a mountain lion, because I'm scrappy and, like, I know that it has claws and everything but, like, I really think that I could take it down just with my pure willpower.”

“You know, I'd love to say something like a bobcat or even a mountain lion, but I feel people are far too hubristic about how strong they actually are. I think the strongest, largest animal I could take is like a house cat - maybe, like, a big dog. But once you're fighting an animal that's clawed and biting at you to the death, I mean, you're not as strong as you think you are, that's for sure.”

“So, the largest wild animal I think I could probably take in a fight pretty easily would have to be an armadillo. They yeah, they got some big armor, but honestly, I think I could take that little guy down. Just put him in a chokehold - take that boy down. Armadillo soup, baby.”

“If I was forced to defend myself from a wild animal, the largest animal I could take is probably a hedgehog. I definitely couldn't take - I could - maybe a squirrel. It's a little bit bigger, but I couldn't take, like, a raccoon or, like, an opossum. I would just - I would have to run. I would not want anything to do with anything larger than that either.”

“The largest animal I think I could take if I had to defend myself, as much as I hate to say this, I feel like maybe a small dog, or maybe something more like the size of, like, a fox. I could maybe have a chance to defend myself, but I feel like anything bigger . . . I don't know. Maybe a fox would bite, but either the size of a small dog or something similar to the size of like a fox or a raccoon.”

“I feel like my cut-off for animals, because I'm not too confident in my skills, um, would be like, if on four legs, if they are shorter than my waist, then I could do it. Definitely not some sort of a dog, um, like a big dog I don't think I could do. So maybe, like, some sort of, like, wild pig I feel like I I would at least, like, give myself a fair shot in that sense.”

“To be honest, I don't think I could take on an animal because I'm weak. Look at this. But probably an ant or something - don't know, maybe a dog, but I'm weak so I would get killed automatically. So yeah.”

“A Kodiak bear, easily. I'd tackle him to the floor and he wouldn't stand a chance. I'd go for the jugular - oyce! - knock him out. Dude, he won't be able to breathe. Easy. Light. Easy, light. I'd do three at a time.”

“Largest animal... bear. Why? Never mind ? I'm just playing. The largest animal I can take is probably a mountain lion . A mountain lion . That's all you get. A mountain lion . Why? I don't know. We're gonna figure it out . But that's probably the largest one I can take . I'm not gonna lie .”
