What is your pet’s name, and how did you come up with it?

I don't really have any pets right now. But I was involved in naming them. But I did have a dog whose name was Mars. I wanted to name him Miles originally, after Miles Davis. But my wife and I decided that we wanted to reserve the name Miles for a future child, so we named him Mars. And then instead of giving that really long explanation, we just told people that he was named after Bob Marley.
